How is the Fontessa installed?
An Ultima service engineer installs it โ typically under an hour, on the counter or a desktop shelf. The engineer walks you through the dual TDS display before leaving.
What does tankless actually mean for my water?
Nothing is stored โ every glass is purified on demand at 800 GPD, so there is no tank of standing water to go stale or get recontaminated.
How do I know when to change a filter?
The front panel tracks every cartridge's remaining life and raises a smart alert when one is due โ replacement is a reading, not a guess. Cartridges sit on the universal 10-inch open standard.
What do the two TDS numbers mean?
The left figure reads the water entering from your line; the right reads what leaves the faucet โ so the claim on the box is one you can check on the unit itself, continuously.
What does the warranty cover?
